取り急ぎご報告まで A quick annoucement!

I came back home for O-Bon.

All the dogs and cats were happy and healthy! It impresses me every time how much the senior group has grown.

We have so many dogs that we’re always replacing the potty pads (Seriously?! I JUST cleaned up!! (╬▔^▔) It’s seriously always like this haha). Even though the AC was on, it was still pretty hot… The dogs and cats were drinking a ton of water, so we had to keep cleaning up after the water spills, and many of them need to wear doggy diapers or something of the sort, so we had to keep changing those as well (and not just change, but change AND wipe their behinds to keep them sanitary). Then there are some who can’t eat by themselves, so we had to feed them by hand one-by-one… (It takes 3 hours from the time we start preparing the dog food to the time they’ve all finished eating and we’ve cleaned up.) In any case, one day of taking care of them flew by. 24 hours just isn’t enough.

We’re also going to a lot of regular adoption festivals and preparing the soon-to-be-adopted kids, and a lot of other things to boot!

We’re only as strong as our supporters, so I want to thank all of our volunteers for their hard work and for sending us much needed supplies.

Sorry it’s been a while since the blog was last updated.
I’m writing for my mom this time, so I’m going to try and keep the update simple.

Everyone’s happy and healthy! (Although there were some who we didn’t get photos of)

We also got so much supplies that I can’t possibly upload them all right now!

The room I used as a girl is all gone now (Mom changed it into a room for the dogs); it’s now used to house bedridden dogs and a storage room for special supplies.

Seriously everyone, thank you so much!
